Stephinsongs is a mailing list for the discussion of the music of Stephin Merritt and the bands he is involved with - the Magnetic Fields, the 6ths, the Gothic Archies, and Future Bible Heroes.
 
 
NEWS:  The mailing list is now using different software, to overcome our majordomo digest problem.  Now, it is running ezmlm, and subscription procedures are different.  All mailing list commands are executed by sending a blank message to a specific email address.  Certain commands (subscribe, unsubscribe) require the user to send a reply to a confirmation email, in order to eliminate forged requests.
 
SUBSCRIBING TO STEPHINSONGS
To subscribe, send a blank piece of email to the following address:
stephinsongs-subscribe@wiw.org
 
Soon after, you will be sent a confirmation email; simply reply back to this message, and you will then be signed up.  Messages from stephinsongs will be sent out to you individually.
 
 
SUBSCRIBING TO STEPHINSONGS-DIGEST
To subscribe to the digest version, send a blank piece of email to the following address:
stephinsongs-digest-subscribe@wiw.org
 
Soon after, you will be sent a confirmation email; simply reply back to this message, and you will then be signed up.  Digests are sent out about every other day, or more frequently if there is a lot of activity on the list.
